In the jungle...

"Just whistle while you work..." I noticed on Monday morning a sentence:"Bad attitude is like broken tire. If you don't change it, you cannot move forward".

There is point on it, even and maybe specially on Monday mornings. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is on the way, you only have this moment.

How could I make this day, my current life, the best possible version?

Hint: I you want jungle in your home, good choice is Swiss Cheese Plant, Monstera Deliciosa. Variegata is my own favorite.
Care: Do not need direct sunlight, big pot, good soil.

Cosy feeling

I am sitting in my summer cottage and nice fire is warming me while I am eating strawberries. Just to get you back to Finnish summer reality, it is also raining outside.

I am wondering, what is making me feel so cosy, just being happy and relax in the sofa. Is it the fire or is it the green nature outside? In the city I do not have fire and from the window I see my neighbour's window.

I would like to bring the same feeling to my home than I have here in the summer cottage.

Hint: If you do not want to look the neighbour's window, make green curtain, my recommendation is hoya.
Care: Small pot, good soil, does not like to be in wet soil.

Summer Day in Finland

I live in Finland in the Land of a thousand lakes, where we have Lapland and Santa Claus. We also have looooong winter, dark and cold.

At the moment it is suppose to be mid summer, but clouds are hanging up to the trees and fog is gray and whispering the rain to come.

Here in Finland during the summer we are suppose to collect energy for dark long winter days like bears are eating for winter hibernation, but well well, soon I do not even remember how the sun looks like. Pullover and coat are the only right clothing at the moment. Not to forget the umbrella.

Inside my house it is also gray and dark, I feel I can't get enough light even I turn on the light bulbs. I will start this blog to collect my thoughts how could I make my days bit brighter and happier indoors.
